Below is a letter from Jonel and Eunice that includes some things we can be praying for! Please Join us in prayer for their family and for this ministry that we support.
Praise the Lord, we are ok. We have not been very affected with the eruption of the Taal Volcano. Last night, it started falling ashes and even now it still smells like sulfur. Some areas do not have electricity or water supply. We appreciate your prayers for Pastor Tony and his family. Their house became shelter for those being affected with the eruption.
Just a short story, yesterday we visited a church near the volcano. We stayed there until sometime past 1 in the afternoon. The pastor asked me if we could stay longer and travel with him to his town a kilometer away from the volcano. I asked him if we could go home because I’ve been traveling and visiting pastors and churches for the last five days. A few minutes later the volcano erupted. After an hour, many towns nearby, were affected by earthquakes, small rocks falling, ashes with sulfur smell, and with zero visibility. Two provinces, Cavite and Batangas, have been severely affected. Maybe you have seen this on the news, thousands are being evacuated.
Another praise I have was on Friday night. I was on my way to the airport picking up a lecturer for our Bible Institute. I was on the express way on the fast lane when suddenly my rear left tire exploded. By the grace of God, I was able to manage slowly to a nearby exit. For the last three months, the car we’ve been driving has been in 3 accidents.
God is really in control amid this catastrophe and accident.
Please pray with us for our countrymen, that through this they will look up and see God during this time.
Please pray also for a reliable car for ministry.
Thank you so much for all your prayers and concern for our welfare.
God bless y’all.
