Discussion Questions
- Jesus sent the disciples out two by two instead of alone (Mark 6:7). Why do you think we often prefer doing hard or spiritual things by ourselves? Where in your life are you trying to go solo when you shouldn’t be?
- Jesus told them to take nothing with them and depend on others (Mark 6:8–9). What does that challenge about your own self-sufficiency? Where do you struggle most to rely on God through other people?
- The message pointed out two resistances: holding onto authority and living in a hurry. Which one hits you harder right now—and why?
- “If you want to multiply, you have to slow down and invest.” Who has invested in you spiritually? And who are you intentionally investing in right now?
- The image of “hoarding your dirt” versus giving it to Jesus is powerful. What would it look like for you to stop guarding your struggles and let others walk with you toward repentance, healing, or growth?
