What has been acting as the authority in your life lately—God, your feelings, culture, fear, comfort, or something else?

What fruit has that authority been producing in you?

Can you think of a time when you were convinced “I know better,” but later realized you were wrong?

What did that teach you about trusting your own judgment?

Why do you think submitting to God’s authority often feels difficult—even when we know His way is better?

What part of your heart tends to resist Him most?

The message said, “God’s authority is not oppression—it’s protection.”

Where in your life have you seen God’s boundaries, commands, or correction actually protect you?

Are there any areas of your life you’ve been living with the “I know better” thinking?

Will you trust God with that area?

What would “God’s will before my will always” look like in that specific area this week?
