Maybe you still believe in God, but your faith feels stuck. You pray, go to church, and try to do the right things, but you don’t feel as close to Jesus as you once did. In this message, we’ll look at why that happens—and how Jesus calls us into a deeper, more mature faith.

1    Has there been a season where you felt spiritually “stuck,” like the boat with the jammed propeller? What did that feel like, and what got you moving again?
2    The sermon talks about a “first conversion” (following Jesus because of what He gives you) and a “second conversion” (loving Jesus just because He’s Jesus). Where do you see yourself between those two right now?
3    Jesus asks Peter three times, “Do you love me?” and each time responds, “Feed my sheep.” Why do you think loving Jesus is so tied to caring for others?
4    Think about giving someone a gift you’d want, not what they actually want. In what ways might you be loving God the way you want to, rather than the way He’s asked?
5    Of the three signs mentioned (loving God your own way, not thinking much about Jesus when you imagine heaven, not “feeding His sheep”) which one hits closest to home for you? What’s one step you could take this week?
6. Do you love Jesus? Are you feeding His sheep with your life?
