How Do We Change Our Mind

Many people believe they’re too far gone to change, while others think saying the right things is enough. Jesus’ parable of the two sons shows that what matters isn’t what we say—it’s whether we’re willing to change our minds, turn toward God, and take a step of obedience.
1.In the parable of the two sons, which son do you most relate to right now: the one who said “no” but later obeyed, or the one who said “yes” but did not follow through? Why?
2.The message says that “honesty precedes repentance.” Where do you need to be more honest with God about your obedience, sin, or resistance?
3.What is an “ungodly belief” you have struggled with, such as “I’m too far gone,” “I’ll never change,” or “this is just who I am”?
4.What is the difference between saying “Yes, Lord” with your mouth and showing obedience through your actions?
5.Where might God be calling you to “work in the vineyard” through serving, discipleship, sharing the gospel, or taking a next step of obedience?
