First Kids is open for ages 0-5th Grade. We are taking precautionary steps to keep our First Kids environment safe and fun for all the kids.
We are following our State and Local Health Department guidelines for face coverings. We are asking all children kindergarten and up to wear a mask while attending First Kids, and we are recommending it for ages 2-PreK. If you forget your mask that’s ok, we will have disposable masks available at check-in if needed.
Our First Kids staff and volunteers are required to wear face coverings and will have their temperature checked prior to entering the Children’s Center.
When you arrive, we have incorporated a touch-less experience where our First Kids volunteers will assist you in checking in your child(ren).
We have kid-friendly hand-sanitizing stations available outside each classroom. We ask all children to sanitize their hands at arrival and dismissal.
We’ve increased our cleaning protocols in all our First Kids spaces. First Kids will be closed between services and reopen 15 minutes prior to the next service time to allow our volunteers to thoroughly clean all toys and hard surfaces before the service starts.
We are asking you to only send one parent into First Kids for drop-off and pick-up to help minimize traffic in the hallways. There are designated floor markers to properly social distance during this time.
Children who, at any time during the service, exhibit symptoms of any illness will have their temperature checked and be moved to a designated area to be picked-up by a parent/guardian.
We provide a nursery during all our Sunday worship services. It is available for infants and toddlers and staffed by caring people who love Jesus.
About First Kids
Children age three through 5th grade are invited to the Children’s Center each Sunday during each of our worship services. Here, adult and teen leaders teach the children about God using stories from the Bible with a gospel-first approach. They spend time sharing with one another, learning memory verses, and celebrating the greatness of God.
We start off in an exciting large group gathering with singing, activities, games and sometimes even puppets. Then we have a delicious but healthy snack. We end by breaking into smaller groups where kids are able to meet others and be known. Our kids programming is something you don’t want your kids to miss out on. They will beg you to come back!
